The Investment division comprises Asset Management segment that provides investment management and advisory services, mutual funds, proprietary investments, and other structured products; Financial Advisory segment, which offers investment services, and engages in equity sales, trading, and research operations; and Retirement segment that offers recordkeeping services, plan administration, actuarial advisory services, tailored participant education and communication services, trustee services, and institutional and retail investment funds to retirement plan sponsors in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. The International Insurance and Investments division offers individual life insurance products to the mass affluent and affluent markets in Japan, Korea, and other foreign countries; and proprietary and non-proprietary asset management, investment advice, and services to retail and institutional clients.
