Our Students
Portland Community College is the largest institution of higher learning in the state, serving more than 1,373,758 college-age residents in a five-county, 1,500-squaremile area in northwest Oregon. During the 2006-2007 school year over 86,164 students (58% female, 42% male) attended PCC (see Demographics for more details). Part of a vibrant, urban community, Portland Community College is a crossroads for people with many destinations. This diversity is vital to the PCC experience.
