National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) provides geospatial information, maps, and images to the United States Department of Defense. The organization’s products include Pathfinder and Raster Roam that allow the user to download images, maps, and digital elevation data. Additionally, it provides geographical databases, cartographical data, nautical publications, historical charts, and Central Intelligence Agency maps. NGA, formerly known as National Imagery and Mapping Agency, was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland with an additional office in St. Louis, Missouri. The organization operates as a subsidiary of United States Dept of Defense.
