The New York Institute of Technology (also known as NYIT and New York Tech) is a private, co-educational college in New York in the USA and is the birthplace of the 3D computer animation system. The college has three New York campuses, two on Long Island and one on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, as well as global locations. The NYIT Computer Graphics Lab is listed in history as one of the top computer graphics research and development groups in the world.
