De Nederlandse Christelijke Radio-Vereniging (NCRV) is in 1924 opgericht en daarmee de op één na oudste publieke omroep van Nederland. De NCRV is protestants-christelijk van signatuur. In de eerste decennia na haar oprichting liet de omroep een orthodox-protestants (gereformeerd) geluid horen; vandaag de dag maakt zij maatschappelijk betrokken programma’s voor radio, televisie en internet die niet uitsluitend iets te maken hebben met het christelijk geloof.
