Mercy Home for Boys and Girls was established in 1887, and is 97% privately funded. Mercy Home’s primary mission is to provide out-of-home residential care for hurting children in serious need of help and healing. Our milieu therapy treatment team provides focus, direction, and hope to adolescents between the ages of 11 and 20. Our children come to us from various referral sources, including schools, churches, donors, DCFS, and others. In total, Mercy Home cares for around 120 youth in our 14 residential programs.
