Indiana University Northwest, one of eight regional campuses of Indiana University, is a Carnegie level Masters institution serving a multicultural student body of more than 5,000 students, 800 employees, and a total operating budget of $45 million.
Established in Gary, Indiana, in 1959, IU Northwest is located on a 38-acre campus in the northwest corner of the state. We are a focal point for our students and the region offering nationally recognized degree programs, a diverse student body, a supportive environment, and unique cultural opportunities.
