As part of the National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) nuclear weapons complex, the Kansas City Plant’s primary mission is to assemble and manufacture components for national defense systems. However, we are a multi-mission facility that supports other government agencies as well as national laboratories, universities, and U.S. industry.
