This group also offers ferroalloys, including ferrochrome, ferromanganese, silicon manganese, and ferrosilicon; noble alloys, such as vanadium pentoxide, ferrovanadium, ferromolybdenum, and molybdenum oxide; nickel and cobalt metal, including nickel and cobalt concentrates, and ferronickel; and carbon steel products. The Energy Products group produces and markets crude oil and oil products, such as fuel oil, heating oil, gasoline, naphtha, jet fuel, and liquefied petroleum gas, as well as coal and coke. The Agricultural Products group originates, processes, handles, and markets wheat, corn, barley, rice, oilseeds, meals, edible oils, biodiesel, and sugar. It serves automotive, power generation, steel production, food processing, metals and minerals, crude oil and oil products, coal, and agricultural products industries. The company exports products to various markets in North Africa, the United States, China, and Japan. It has mining operations in Australia, South Africa, Canada, and Colombia, as well as other operations in the United Kingdom, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan. The company was founded in 1974 as Marc Rich & Co. AG and changed its name to Glencore International AG in 1994.
