The Department of Computer Sciences at the University of Copenhagen, DIKU, offers bachelor candidate and Ph.D. degrees in computer science.
DIKU is a department under the Faculty of Science and cooperate closely with other university faculties, institutes and centers to modernize IT education.
DIKU also performs research at an international level in close contact with research institutions and industrial companies in Denmark and abroad.
By 2008, DIKU comprises the following research groups: Imaging, algorithms and optimization, Programming, Distributed systems and human-machine interaction.
