Defense Finance and Accounting Service provides financial and accounting services for the department of defense military services. DFAS offers military and civilian pay services, commercial pay services to contractors, and accounting services to implement federal accounting requirements mandated by Congress, OMB, Treasury, and DoD and maintaining current operational accounting systems.
