Central European Distribution Corporation (CEDC) and its subsidiaries engage in the production, distribution, and importing of alcoholic beverages in Poland. It produces and sells vodka. The company distributes approximately 700 brands of alcoholic beverages consisting of various alcoholic products, including spirits, wine, and beer, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. It distributes its products directly to off-trade establishments, such as small and medium-size retail outlets, petrol stations, duty free stores, supermarkets, and hypermarkets; and on-trade locations, including bars, nightclubs, hotels, and restaurants. As of December 31, 2006, CEDC operated 16 distribution centers and 76 satellite branches. Its import brands include Concha y Toro wines, Metaxa Brandy, Remy Martin Cognac, Guinness, Sutter Home wines, Grants Whiskey, Jagermeister, E&J Gallo wines, Jim Beam Bourbon, Sierra Tequila, and Teachers Whisky. The company was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in Warsaw, Poland.
