The company also offers international services, including voice, video, and data communication services; wireless services consisting of postpaid and prepaid services; wireless data transmission services; directory information services; and Internet access. Its wireless data transmission services include voice mail, short message, multimedia messaging, call forwarding, call waiting, caller ID, message waiting indicator, conferencing, detailed billing, automated and on-line customer, international roaming, on-line handset shopping, emergency number, video streaming, and global positioning system services. As of December 31, 2006, Compañía Anónima had a network of 3,915,326 access lines; 389 satellite-based lines; 1,140 lines using wireless technology and approximately 1,200 microwave radio-based lines; 6,688 international long distance circuits; 7,917,949 wireless subscribers; and 636,307 Internet subscribers. It also had 112,974 public telephones; and offered data transmission services to 2,323 private line customers through private links consisting of 55,933 circuits.
