10 million customers in 195 countries, with a further 23.3 million lives served by Health Dialog in USA. They operate in a growing number of segments and countries.

Medical insurance products specific to the local market are offered in: UK, Spain, Malta, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia, and across Latin America.

Its international medical insurance brand, Bupa International, was recently strengthened through the acquisition of IHI Danmark and AMEDEX. The product, aimed mainly at expatriates and high net worth individuals, is also available in a number of local markets including Kenya, Egypt, UAE, Mexico, Ecuador and others.

Its portfolio of care home (aged care) properties cover UK, Spain, Australia and New Zealand.

Bupa also operates a number of other ventures including The Cromwell Hospital in London, Home Healthcare, Goldsborough Estates and its recent acquisition, Health Dialog based in Boston, MA.

Not afraid to sell as well as acquire, Bupa recently sold its UK hospital business, and more recently sold its "Teddies" brand of day nurseries.
