Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) is a federal power marketing agency within the US Department of Energy. It supplies wholesale electricity and transmission services within Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Washington.
BPA supplies about half of the electricity used in the Pacific Northwest and about 80% of the electricity transmission capacity. BPA supports regional efforts on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and fisheries restoration.
