Apria Healthcare Group, Inc. is the largest provider of home healthcare products and services in the United States, offering a comprehensive range of home respiratory therapy, home infusion therapy and home medical equipment services in all 50 states through approximately 550 locations.
In October 2008, Apria was acquired by The Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX) for a total purchase price of approximately $1.7 billion, inclusive of retired debt and associated transaction costs. Pursuant to the acquisition, Apria was delisted from NYSE where it traded under the ticker AHG.
