Market Leader: We have a geographically diverse circuit with leadership in major markets worldwide. As of July 2, 2009, we had interests in 307 theatres with 4,610 screens. In the United States, we are located in 30 states and the District of Columbia. We also have an international presence in Canada, Hong Kong, France and the United Kingdom.

Modern Theatre Circuit: We are the industry leader in the development and operation of megaplex theatres, typically defined as a theatre having 14 or more screens, stadium-style seating and other amenities to enhance the entertainment experience. During fiscal years 2005 through 2009, we opened or acquired 150 theatres with 1,871 screens and disposed of 65 theatres with 618 screens. In the United States and Canada, 76 percent of our screens were located in megaplex theatres, as of April 2, 2009. Our average number of screens per theatre as of April 2, 2009 was 15.0 which was more than twice the National Association of Theatre Owners average of 7.1 for calendar year 2008 and higher than any of our peer competitors.

Highly Productive Theatres: Our theatres are among the most productive in the industry. For the fiscal year ended April 2, 2009, we operated 19 of the top 50 theatres in the United States and Canada in terms of box office revenues. Our next closest competitor operated 11 of the top 50 theatres. In addition, for the same fiscal year, our theatres in the United States and Canada produced box office revenues 46 percent higher than the industry average.
