inCommon CD is a 501(c)3 non-profit located in downtown Omaha.
Our mission is to affront poverty through the cultivation of supportive community networks that participate in the holistic development of vulnerable populations and neighborhoods.
In other words, we work to "transform communities through community." We agree with Dr. Robert Lupton, President of Family Consultation Service (FCS) Urban Ministries, when he said, "The single greatest cause of sustained poverty in our cities is isolation.” Therefore we work to break the isolation of individuals and families in our cities through cultivating community on a neighborhood and individual level.
