How to stop Network Update emails?
On April 27 I started receiving a weekly email titled "LInkedIn Network Updates", that I do not want to receive. The email says
Don't want to receive email notifications? Adjust your message settings.
with a link that takes me to the Account & Settings page. There is no "message settings" item on this page. There is a "Set the frequency of emails" setting. This includes a field "Network activity", although it is already set to "no email".
How do I stop receiving these Network Update notifications?

You can turn these messages off when you set the frequency of group digest emails in the "Groups, Companies and Applications" section of your Settings.
Select No Emails from the dropdown next to the group.
To stop getting emails when a discussion you are following is updated:
Click Groups at the top of your home page.
Click the Following tab.
Click the Stop following link under the discussion you don't want to follow.
You can click Stop following all in the upper right of the page if you don't want to follow any of these discussions.

Interesting, Allen. I don't get those. But I remembered someone else asking the same question recently. I'm including the link to that question and the answers that came in. It's the second answer that seems to be most useful.

Unfortunately I have the same problem. I'm a paying user and there is no way for me to opt-out of receiving these emails. I've contacted Customer Service and they've replied that they're aware of this problem and have a "team" of technicians trying to resolve the problem- unfortunately that was weeks ago. I can only assume that they are intentionally sending these emails to generate traffic to the website, because this is a simple issue. I hope more paying users will complain about this issue, because these emails are spam.
