What would YOU say, while accepting the Webby Award for Social Networking (2007) on our behalf?
The Webby awards (or the "Oscars of the Internet" as they're more commonly known) were announced last week and LinkedIn won in the following two categories: social networking and services.
As most of you are aware of, the Webby awards are famous for their succinct acceptance "speeches", an institution that has garnered gems such as Al Gore's "Please don't recount this vote" to Thomas Friedman's "The World Really is Flat".
Of course, we owe this recognition to YOU. Since it is the social networking award, we felt it would only be appropriate to let our 10 million users (even those outside of the US), help craft the 5-word speech. And, we'd also like the selected finalist to accept the award at the 11th Webby Awards Ceremony (June 5th) in New York City.
Step 1: Submit a 5-word acceptance speech you'd give if you were to accept the award on our behalf, right here on this thread. Only one entry per user and private entries allowed.
Step 2: Check out our blog for further details: http://tinyurl.com/2qmtrz.

A well deserved bottoms up!
