What is the best approach for developing cell site back haul business with wireless carriers?

I am looking for wireless point(s) of contact for developing and selling alternative carrier business, pricing strategy, bandwidth requirement, viability of metro ethernet for transport (over fiber) and comments and experiences with equipment vendors. e.g. Cisco MRW, Alloptics...etc.

Thank you, JC Calhoun

Clarification added March 18, 2009:

For clarification: My approach is to be considered as an alternative / additional backhaul transport provider to the already in place TDM backhaul in rural areas. I believe that there is opportunity to directly compliment traditional TDM backhaul with Metro Ethernet / TDM emulation and to form partnership relationships with already established Companies positioned with Wireless Carriers. My intent is to maximize this effort using our extensive cable network footprint that is in close proximity to towers. With fiber to the node already in place throughout our network, I wanted to explore the viability of the initiative. Any input is appreciated. JC

You are way late to that game generally speaking. e-mail me with more specifics of what you are trying to get done if you want and I'll try and give you some direction. Jim@busse.com
