Can someone recommend a good domain name appraiser (I have mostly ".ca" domains for sale)?

I am looking to sell a few ".ca" and ".com" domain names that I have purchased over the years. The problem is there is a plethora of domain name appraisers and sellers out there. Not sure who to go to. Are there any industry specific domain appraisers out there? Do the "general" appraisers typically do their due diligence in terms of research? A friend recommended "www.sedo.com" which seems to be UK based. Anybody have anything to say about them?

sedo.com is a good place to sell your domains. We used their service a couple of times and they turned out to be reliable.

Another one is namejet.com which is nice as well

Hi Mike,

Try premiumdomains.com (it's free), you want to first see if the domains have a premium value. They will let you know where your domains rank in the grand scheme, ultimately from their you should be able to derive the value depending on their rank. But I have to say that "value" is based on someone will pay for it, there's no guarantee you will get that.

Sedo is very good, but you will pay for an appraisal that may or may not reflect market value. Afternic and Moniker also do the same. I'd try premium to see what they think as far as if it is considered a premium domain name. It won't cost you anything.

Good Luck,
RG

Clarification added December 19, 2007:

Sedo, Afternic, Moniker all sell domain names. Sedo is free and so is Moniker. I believe Afternic has a price structure. These are the top places where you can sell a domain, but take your time listing them and learn how to set a minimum price so that you won't get any low offers that will waste your time.
