Hi Ajay,
I've never used it in detail, the TPA, based on what I've used from it, I can give some feedback.

Advantages
-----------------
- Clear overview of what to test
- open and clear communication possible
- positive results after a very time consuming activity

Disadvantages
---------------------
- Function point analysis is required before being able to use TPA
- Not really open for changes, not really flexible
- Very time consuming

I know that this will not provide all the information that you need, but there is a lot of literature on the topic that you can consult.

Kind regards,
erik
