If you could have one service or feature that tied your mobile phone to your livingroom (PVR, Set Top Box, or Game Console) what would it be?

PVR
PVR, nothing like scheduling recording times on the move!

I believe that the installations of PVRs has still not reached its peak. By improving access from mobile devices, we could see even larger deployments of PVR devices by those who have not taken the step to implement them, but are only now moving from the typical cell phone to a true PDA.

I prefer PVR. STB or Game Console is good too, but I think that PVR connected with my cell phone looks pretty good feature. I worked in my past on the similar project - it wasnt exactly PVR, but NPVR ( this sound much more easier for operator - cable or mobile).
I agree PVR access on my mobile would be good with the 8 day programme guide "pushed" on demand but prior edited to only show channels I was interested in. I have a Topfield PVR and as this is open source code a lot of people submit software for it - see www.toppy.org - they have a limited command application on a mobile (I believe it is just text based) -
PVR. If the choices are (PVR, Set Top Box or Game console)
If the access is provided via mobile phones people can schedule recordings, manage multiple PVR devices/sites remotely.
On the digital living room front, I see mobile phone as a multi utility item
- a universal remote managing all Set Top Boxes (IPTV, DTH),
- controlling device for your home automation(switch on/off home appliances)
- Remote monitoring device
I might use mine to make or receive phone calls ;-)

The concensus of PVR is not surprising. We have at least two of our satellite broadcasting customers (BSkyB in the UK and YES in Israel) to whom we supply PVR, and they already have this feature from us. With a WAP application supported GSM phone you can manage recordings on the home PVR. This has been around for at least 3 years now, but is definitely a hot feature.

For me, full control of my PVR, so I could remote book, erase, see preview of whats been recorded, see how much space I have left, adventually be able to move off my PVR onto external storage or even on to my phone. Basically my mobile phone would be a "smart" remote.
Well, PVR is very commonly used now. But Game Consoles like Wii is the future :-)
Absolutely a DVR or set top box.

Slingbox is nice mobile application premise based hardware solution that many people use to stream their live TV or DVR content to their mobile devices. Once mobile devices can spit out a decent video/audio feed that a TV can easily accept Slingbox type apps will be even cooler.
video surveillance.
call from mobile to sip video camera to see if house is ok
The sentient robotic device that would have dinner waiting when I walked in the door.
I usually don't carry my cellphone around in the house, so having anything tied to my cellphone would be a waste. However, I've solved the living room "integration" problem with an HTPC. With a wireless keyboard (with touchpad), I can use the HTPC as a regular PC, media library, music box, DVD player, control the HD cable box (via firewire port), and become a PVR itself.
