Can I apply some of the enterprise architecture best practices to individual projects?

For e.g. Applying the architecture vision of TOGAF to individual project architecture.

Thought The following might help.

Depending on the customer context and need you can definately use the best practises in developing architecture(TOGAF,...) for the relevant needs. In my world of architecting so far, I have always had to apply practical common sense along with strong architectural basis and some key design patterns based on customer requirements.

Arvind, you can definitely apply some best practices to individual projects but not all of these best practices would fit in any industries. Best practice are a collection of generally applied practices that works. However, it may not have a 100% fit due to culture, geography and other dominating elements such as supply & demand.
