Digital music distributors

Anyone who can advice me digital music distributors like Believedigital.com ?

Clarification added May 5, 2008:

@Shabbir:
I am not sure what I am looking for, that's why I kept the question as broad as possible.
Primairy goal is/was to get the music to as much as providers as possible (create online a wider range next to the existing channels), These kind of organisations offer also complementary services, so if one might know one I really should know of.... ?

I would definately recommend you use one of the major content aggregators. I have to agree with Mr. Wallace that the Orchard is a great place to start if you have a label, or a large quantity of music. Another option is IODA .

If you are simply trying to spread the word about your own few recordings and get them up on iTunes, etc, CD Baby would be your best shot.

Hope this helps.

Hi Gainluigi;

Your question is a little vague; what exactly are you trying to do, so that a reccomendation can be provided. In terms of music distribution, there are many many places; what are you looking to provide to your end-users?

Are you looking to build a service like that provided by believedigital, are you looking to use such a service, what are you requirements.

I appologise for my ignorance, but I feel that it would be prudent to understand what you require in a touch more detail before providing you with the appropriate advice.

I look forward to your clarification.

Warm Regards,

Shabbir

Hi. My assumption is that you're trying to get (your?) music distributed to multiple online music retailers.
Assuming that you do not have a record label contract (in which case they should be doing that for you), I'd suggest looking at a couple of distributors, both of whom work with unsigned artists (i think):

1. The Orchard - http://www.theorchard.com
2. CD Baby http://www.cdbaby.net/

Hope this helps.
