Whatever resource a company needs are now available instantly from a world market. This could be goods, services, personnel or information. This increases the efficiency of the company and lowers cost through greater competetition. For vendors trying to reach such buyers, access is initially easier, however as more entities use these communication channels, that advantage will level off. In addition, the use of email within a company has greatly increased the efficiency, timeliness and accuracy of key business communications. All of these benefits, of course, come with corresponding downsides.
