MY friend has just launched this website and there is a long way to go before this website provides all its services and he wants to get the word out.

I agree Manish’s user interface statement. Your friend needs to get some help from a UI specialist. I did not bother to read the content, one look at the UI and I am not interested. I am sure I won’t be the only person with that reaction.

I agree with the above comments:
1. UI needs a revamp
2. HTML code needs to be looked at: Lots of errors and invalid markup (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Finduspreneur.com&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0)
3. Annoying scrollbar when I check user profiles
4. Does't have a hook. How do I use it, and how would it be beneficial for me? Needs some kind of a tutorial to show how a user can benefit.
5. Minor niggle on the name: The River Indus is more widely associated with Pakistan.
The name is the first and main difficulty for me. I'm not sure if I'm spelling entrepneuer.com correctly, let alone induspreneur.com
Perhaps a 2 name simple domain like indianconnect.com, indianhub.

A very interesting concept. There are three things that your friend needs to do to get the site to a better shape.
1. Change the look and feel of the home page to hook visitors
2. Review content on the home page. There are a few spelling and language errors.
3. Make the search more friendly since this will be the most frequently used page of your site.

First of all - IMO the web design is 'lukewarm' to me and lots of space is not used properly. I'd suggest some re-design.
I personally find too many networking sites for business people - I don't have time to use them all....

>> UI should be improve a lot..
>> follow the standards that should remains same in all browsers
>> Add more options,features to each modules, so that users dont feel there is nothing inside.
>> It should meet industry standard. Look around the competition like linkedin.com or something. You said this is especially for indian people. It means indians worldwide?..
If its traditional social networking application its fine, that it will works only for indian community.
But if you go with business conceps, we are in "globalization" ... review it and put your thougts here...
Let me congratulate you for this new idea and thanks for such a wonderful platform for new entrepreneurs. This concept will certainly help lot of those start ups, who look for reliable sources to seek business guidance. But this is for sure that website appearance needs lot of improvements.
*Try to make it more informative, dynamic and use bright colors.
*You should have a proper logo which conveys message about your profession.
*Font for the brand name "Induspreneur" sounds quite simple and boring. Use some stylish fonts through out the site.
* I tried searching your website on Google using some keywords of your profession and its does not enlist your portal. This confirms that you need better content writing and search engine optimization. It comes in Google search, only when exactly the correct name of your website is fed in it. I recommend www.broots.co.in , who may help you here in lowest possible cost.
*Surf People Page of your website -> Scroll till bottom of the page -> Next Page links at the bottom are neither visible properly and are overlapping the text area of that page. There are some more truncated areas like this in website.
*Pose advertisements of entrepreneurs on website. Pick up some of them free of cost initially, so as to attract other for the same. At later point of time, it shall be a good source of income for you. I can recommend my friend's company BRoots for it. They deal in website designing and may be ready for posing there ads on your website and may even ask some more entrepreneurs in their circle to pose ads in nominal fees. And if you are interested in seeking some website revamping solution or need other such guidance, then they may be the best source to help you.
*Contact Us link, nowhere, mentions your postal address and contact details, which may be a good reason for visitors to loose their faith in you.
* Join the Core link: This name does not reveal that you are requesting for visitors feedback. Its better to name it "Feedback". And again surprisingly; Join the Core is one of the options in that drop down. A visitor can not expect that he will click on a link called "Join The Core" and further finds the same link as a sub menu.
There can be lot of other such improvements which need proper concentration and better efforts. I hope, this all criticism has not created my bad image in your mind. Best of luck for the future and shout for any help, if needed.
