Good question - watches are a hobby of mine - I love the designs - clean and simple preferably. I divide mine into four categories: work, evening,sports/social and extreme.
Work - Tag Heur Carrera every time, though the Aqua Racer is a fine watch too; I also wear a Longines occasionally. Work watches have to be functional, stylish, but not ostentatious.
Evening/night - currently a Bulgari, but I have a nice Longines, very slim. Show style at night
Sport - Hublot Big Bang - just AWESOME, but I've also worn a Breitling Bentley - but Breitling are a little over the top for me. I was looking at U-Boat the other day - massive (bigger than the Hublot), so probably not practical.
Extreme: G-Shock.
Hobbies (apart from watches): drinking red wine and reading Schopenhauer.

I love Breitling watches, but they are way too big for my wrist. So I opted for a simple yet elegant Raymond Weil model... I hate ladies watches with diamonds :-)
Hobbies: flying a glider, personal and professional development, networking.
I consider my watch just one of those every-day neccessities, not an accessory (so much faster to glance at my wrist than dig my cell phone out of my purse!). So I own about three watches, but only wear one. It's a two-toned Citizen Eco-Drive that I've had for about 6 years. It goes with everything from jeans to suits and never needs a new battery because it runs on light. :)
As for hobbies, I read a lot, make jewelry when I have time and try to squeeze a work out into my schedule now and then.
