What do clients look for from a recruitment agency in terms of its client engagement model?

My current research project focuses around client engagement models in the recruitment sector. I would appreciate any information as to what prospective clients look for from a recruitment agency across a number of areas such as: account management, frequency of updates, content of reports, candidate screening requirements etc. I would be particularly interested to hear from recruitment consultants and discover how their businesses handle the account management process.
