With the people that I have been talking to...
They feel we are on the start of something if we choose into it.
They believe the era of every man for himself is dying.
With our network capacity I tend to agree, just image what we
could create if instead of competing with each other we join forces!
Something to think about!

Nope, not an earthquake today, not a new era tomorrow or the next day.
The next chapter appears to be more regulation and oversight till all the life is sucked out, even in the face of creativity and cleverness as extreme sports.

Colin,
I believe a large shift is happening in general, and which is being felt in business. My personal sense of this is that many people have benefited from the self-help movement and from a greater sense of empowerment. More and more people are spiritual and self-referencing in focus, and beginning to apply quantum physics and other leading edge ideas for understanding reality.
This will I suspect, lead to a complete revolution in our infrastructures--education, business, relationship. If we truly amplify what we pay attention to, and operate from an informed and aware understanding of ourselves then I suspect society at large is approaching a "tipping point".
I myself already see a significant gap occurring, where some folks feel enormous and powerfully creative, expect ease and abundance and well being and everything they desire. They feel deeply connected to "God" or "the Universe" or "source" or some idea as such, and feel they create their own life with their thinking and feeling. Others is seems focus on what might be called "local" aspects of reality and treat and understand them to be important and are still believing that one must work hard to get what one wants, etc.
I am curious how this gap will affect the overall energy of our experience. I sometimes feel I live in a significantly different reality than others. Will I be able to connect with people who believe in such a substantially different reality in the future? Will this gap grow? Do others feel it? I guess I myself have many questions about this.
You have provoked me! :) Sorry to take this answer so wide...but it is interesting to consider business revolution in the context of overall evolution of human experience and the leading edge of things!
Best,

May I also add, that I don't sense our infrastructures will change in the short term, but that we will feel them unravel. Less and less belief in them will gradually dissolve them, and it will become important to create new, idealized version and visions to replace them that serve us more fully and are more free and valuing of diversity, individuality, creativity, evolution, etc.
