What updates are you referring to, Robert? Are you referring to updates to your website? If so, look at your traffic logs and choose a low-traffic time of day or evening.
Blog updates? I don't know that it's that important. Post them when ready ... after you've had a chance to thoroughly proofread.
Facebook updates? Twitter? Like I said, it depends on what you mean. And whether you are willing to work 24/7.
