Please Post Links to Landing Pages that are Well Designed for Lead Generation

I'm writing an article for the HubSpot blog. (8,000 subscribers) and I'm looking for examples of well designed landing page. Please use your answer to link directly to your landing pages. I will be including good ones in the article. Feel free to elaborate what you think a good landing page looks like, why. If you're comfortable sharing your conversion rates or any other proof, please do.

Clarification added 7 months ago:

Although I appreciate the discussion, I'm looking less for guidelines on what makes a good one. I kinda know that for the most part. So, please don't look to resources on "how to design a good landing page". Please link to good landing pages.

A good landing page should tell a story and have three key elements -

Identify who you are.
Use a video
Offer a compelling reason for them to join your list.

The web sites below have examples of simple vs, complex.
If it is not a direct sell keep it short if you are selling direct keep it long.

Hi Peter,

Why reinvent the wheel? These guys spent millions of dollars for research to create their landing pages

I've included some links to presentations you might find interesting [link 1]. I'd agree with a previous post and add that HP and Amazon have it down.

For me it has to incorporate a/b tracking. What might work well for an IT manager and a CEO who has little time or interest in an Ajax solution with an e-commerce company is very different.

I'd say now a good landing page ought to incorporate:

1. Simple headlines and USPS. Graphically simple with easy to locate calls to action
2. Tell me the USPS, and show me: To discover them via media [photos, videos from supplier and UGC].
3. Top line reviews from experts and users

I think you'll need to look at industry as well. Some industries work different from others in terms of conversion and target market. Thus, what might work well for selling books, might not work so well for an arms dealer!

For me, a landing page has to deliver what its says. From experience offering less choice and highlighting the USPs for the product, service or concept. Thus the landing page focuses on conversion. Within the world of mobile phones orange has always been a leader in design and simple concepts to the user and focuses on this area. [link 3]

Other sites work with ease, for example [link 2] this booking engine uses all the concepts on one screen and it's 1 more to complete the sale. [You have to go to the site and then click on one of the offers as linked in doesn't allow me to post the link below]

There's no uber site which can reflect all which a customer wants. It depends on market, person and interest.

For me I'd look and contact people here. I use it regularly for comparison and inspiration:

Peter,
I would search Google and click on the ads which will point to landing pages that have some money behind them. Some good ones: "Mortgage Quote" "Auto Loan" "Business Intelligence White Paper" "Online Degree" etc... what ever you think might interest the Hubspot Blog Readers and start clicking on the Ads.

Another resource is an article that's a little old, but has lots of examples (peachpit article link below). It should help identify companies that have a head start on landing page design, and perhaps could provide you with a time-based example... what these companies were doing a year ago vs. now, if you can locate up-to-date versions of them.

The second link has a PowerPoint presentation (show) link in it that has lots of examples and content on this subject for you to look into.
To edit, drag and drop into PPT2007 and double click to edit the show for a higher resolution view.

While I am at it, I can't resist recommending that you include more considerations than just design such as endorsement components, segmentation tools, personalization, culture considerations, purpose (purchase, download, signup, vote, etc. all have different purposes), optimization, A/B and multivariate testing, etc.
