Channel Marketing Solution?
A lot of our customers have to go to a portal to get all of their marketing information from their vendor. Typically they just don’t have the time or the resources to update their content on a constant basis. Is there a software solution available that can solve this problem?
Question 1: Does this exist?
Question 2: If so, which companies offer this type of software?

A 1: Yes, it exists.
A 2: Large consumer electronics mfrs. like Dell and HP use "push" web technology systems to keep all their product data up to date on their VARs or retailers' sites. It's the best way to keep a sharp brand image and ensure that limited time promo offers are kept valid. The data that's pushed out also pours into the resellers' website template -- matching colors, navigations, etc -- so it's seamless to the site viewer.
Any web design/e-commerce company who's capable to handling such clients can provide the service.
Question 1: Yes, I’ve seen a few names for it. I’ve seen “content syndication” “full content syndication” and “web syndication”. All of these emphasize the importance of pushing out content to multiple points for maximizing visibility. It also ensures an untainted marketing message. Think about the large manufacturers who spend millions of dollars on product marketing. Investing a tool that allows you to secure that investment is a no brainer! Plus, using this tool solves some of the biggest problems in channel marketing; the fragmented information hurtle and not knowing “exactly” what message your end consumer is receiving from your channels.
I’ve seen companies like Microsoft and Siemens utilize such content syndication solutions to syndicate to their VARs. I agree with the post above, it’s the best way to keep a “sharp brand image”.
