Are there any good web strategy / web analytics books you can recommend?
I have one really good web analytics book and I read a few web analytics blogs, too but does anyone know of any books in web strategy that would be a perfect complement? So, right now I have Avinash Kaushik's Web Analytics An Hour a Day and I also like the OX2 Blog because some of it is in French. I'm sure it would be useful to the community to have some other interesting web strategy and web analytics blogs that are out there.

For analytics, I'm going to refer you to some people (below).
For web strategy, I'm going to recommend a few blogs and a couple of books.
There are many books, and plenty of good ones. Here are two:
Join the Conversation, by Joseph Jaffe
See link below
The Age of Conversation, by 103 authors
See link below
But it moves so fast that I feel blogs may be the better source:
Joseph Jaffe:

Greg Verdino:

For analytics, see the profile links to the experts I recommend below:
Anna Papadopoulos, now with Media Contacts, is the former Media Director for EURO RSCG 4D. She also writes a column for ClickZ.
Brian Letwin, is a Media Planner at Beyond Interactive, and prior Media Planner at Market Maker Interactive.

Chris G also suggests these experts on this topic:
Seth Godin has put out a few books that hit on strategy--but if you are looking for actionable information, the best place I have found is industry blogs. A few that I subscribe to are:
-Web Digest for Marketers
-Marketing Sherpa
-Imedia Connection
-Search Engine Watch
If you can take 5-10 minutes with your morning coffee to review these sites you'll be surprised at how much strategy and tactic you can pick up.

I would totally recommend Ed Rivis if you are looking for an easy to follow web marketing strategy.
His blog is at edrivis.com, giving large amounts of free insights to web marketing and his book, The Ultimate Web Marketing Strategy is easy to read and gives implementable suggestions.

There is only one true analytics expert, Eric Peterson. He's written the bible(s) on Web Analytics, and travels the world speaking and consulting with large companies. I've seen him present many times and he knows his stuff.

If specifically interested in Google Analytics, Brian Cliftons 'Advanced Web Metrics with Google Analytics' has a ton of useful information. Was initially wary about buying it but now it has numerous pages bookmarked as being regularly useful.

I haven't had a chance to read it fully yet, but its been highly recommended - "Web Analytics - An Hour a Day" by Avinash Kaushik. He's the analytics evangelist for Google.
