Email marketing tool to manage several contact databases
I'm looking for a e-mail marketing tool that will allow me to manage 2 different customer databases. I have several businesses that are not related, so I would create different autoresponders and devise different campaigns for them. I know I can create separate accounts with any e-mail marketing tools, but is there one that has functionality to manage 2 separate contact groups?

I have just the answer, depending on the size of solution you are after.
(Large solution) If you need to send lots of emails (1,000+), then I can recommend a company called 'Communicator Corp' based in the UK. They provide a platform that hosts the data securely for you, allow multiple databases, various dynamic email templates, have great relationships with the ISPs and tracks the emails for you - all the usual open and click through stats. This product is browser based and stats can be obtained in realtime.
Hope this helps. Paul
Ps. We have used this system for about 5 years and had not probems.

Peep,
Gold Lasso is one of the most robust email marketing tools on the market for the price. It can easily handle mutiple database, various different criteria for autorepsonders and time release campaigns as well as multiple layered lists and sublists with roll-up reporting. In addition there's a data collection section where you can build integrated landing pages and surveys. Definitely check it out.

Q-tools, by Quotient Marketing will work well for you. I had similar needs as head of marketing for Liberty Travel and GOGO Worldwide vacations, and had two separate databases -- 500,000 consumer and 48,000 trade (travel agents). It's easy, automated, and very affordable! Dwight Sholes heads up Quotient Marketing and he can be emailed at dwight@quotientmarketing.com.

Hi Peep,
I won't try and pitch you anything here. All ESP's of a decent size provide this kind of functionality - it's so close to the segmentation mechanic of an ASP solution.
Try and find a reputable ESP, close to you with a good support function. Ideally, they'll guide you through the set up process and you'll be able to manage this easily on an ongoing basis.
I think the point of differnce is going with an ESP rather than buying an off the shelf software tool.
Good luck!

Steve
