Where can I find freelance intercultural trainers?

My company is interested in developing business relationships with freelance trainers who have experience in conducting cross-cultural themed sessions in areas such as team-building, negotiating, expatriate entry/re-entry, management, diversity, awareness, etiquette, etc.

While translators gather at places like proz.com, there is no easy way to find freelance trainers. Any ideas?

I've done some work in that area as I crossed over it in some of my training. In my experience, trainers focus on specific countries or regions rather than generalities, as if you go too general you end up with material that is lacking in practical applicability.

Can you give more detail as to what you're specifically looking for?

Lauren,

There are many such trainers...in fact, I'm convinced they all know each other!

Try reaching out to Mike Schell at RW-3. He is a cultural expert and has a vast network. Also has some really neat software for cultural training and the topics you list above.

Be sure to tell Mike I sent you.

Warren
