Need a recommendation for an Internet Merger/Acquisition specialist (sell side).

A client has a resource site with a busy community/social network in a market interesting to advertisers. Top 5,000 site. Looking for an M&A person who understands valuations of Web firms and who can advise on steps to enhance the attractiveness of the business and maximize value for the client if they choose to sell the operation.

Two investment bankers I would consider; Amherst Partners, Cathy Jaros 847-418-3888 or Donnelly Penman, Roy Vorhees 313-393-3058. Both have good technology experience and are consultive investment bankers. If it would be better in another shop they would let you know who should do it.

I met a couple of young guys recently who used to do acquisitions for Microsoft and have now struck out on their own. They are called: DeParis Redinger LLC

Their names are Francesco DeParis and Kyle Redinger. They have struck out on their own to do just what you are asking about. Help you shop your merger/acquisition deal and get the best price.

You can reach them by phone:
Phone: 434-295-7317
Or email Francesco
fdeparis@deparisredinger.com.

I would be curious to know if you end up working with them how it goes. I have not done any deals with them but liked them and they seemed to know what they were doing.
