Where can I find Asian investors for my Welsh movie?
I'm interested in funding my next film with Asian capital, perhaps from China. Does anyone know any big Chinese investors? What about Bollywood, anyone there interested in making films in Wales?
There are roles for Asian or perhaps South American actors.

The disposible income that Welsh spend on entertainment is larger than that of most Asian nations.
A language barrier isn't necessarily a problem. Not only have films like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Das Boot suceeded outside
their language market, but even those from smaller countries like Belgium and Denmark have exhibited great export potential.
That said, I didn't say the film would be in the Welsh language. Just as Bollywood and Hong Kong films can be shot or at least dubbed in English for an international market, so can Welsh films.
Welsh films like Hedd Wynn have won academy awards.
A lot of Asian students come to study in Wales, and we welcome many Asian tourists who admire Wales' unique and exotic locations. Hence the Asian characters.
There is an interest in Wales worldwide. Another large interest in Wales comes from the United States and Australia, where millions of people have or at least claim to have Welsh ancestry. And there are links with Southern Africa as well.
The very fact you know that Welsh statistically has one million speakers shows that Wales is better known than many other cultures of similar size. However, the lack of known films and cultural products from Wales proves that the market is not saturated.

Vasco, the biggest source of funding for movie making does not come from Asia companies. Most are better as producers and digital content providers rather than funding the movie making business.
There must be a reason why Asian money is needed compared to American Hollywood money?
I am sorry if I have missed something here... :)
