I have a Chase CapitalOne Miles card that got stolen. I'd like to start having a back-up Business credit card.

I currently have a Chase CapitalOne Miles card that got stolen. I'd like to start having a back-up Business credit card, so that I am not credit-card-free for a month while Chase sends the new cards out. Do any business owners have a Business Credit Card that they prefer? Thanks!

Have you thought of using a debit card as your back up?
Your bank can issue you one within a week?

I have to tell you, we use the Amex Corporate card and we're thrilled with it. We can issue/delete cards instantly. We can adjust credit limits. It's just fantastic. Reports are customizeable. My only (ongoing) complaint is the web-based site isn't firefox compatible and I have to use IE ::shudder::

I can tell you *NOT* to use Advanta - they are very inflexible and poor, very poor customer service. That was my experience of them. Chase and Discover are my two top cards, great customer service and support.

I've had a fantastic experience with American Express. I currently use their Business Blue card. I needed the limits raised in short order one day, and they were able to accommodate the request in under 10 minutes.

Capital One is good and they should be able to get you a card within 2 - 3 days max. If it is taking longer than that you need to find out why. Bank of America is also good, their airline cards are great. But they often start new people off with horrible interest rates, but if you always pay the balance off each month it isn't a problem. American Express is also very good.
