2. Would you recommend to the class? Yes/No? Comments?

3. Are you interested in meeting face-to-face in Kyiv with CSMs and people who are interested in knowing about CSM to discuss these and other related questions? Yes/No?

Clarification added February 16, 2008:

CSM stands for Certified ScrumMaster.
Please don't answer if you didn't attend the training. This just saves time.

1. 9. My class was by Bas Vodde and it was very useful. Bas is an excellent trainer who knows ins and outs of Scrum and SW development in general. I am not rating class as 10 because I haven't seen the classes by the other trainers. Theoretically there might be better classes. On the other hand I might be biased, because I know Bas in person, he worked for my company and knows a lot exactly about our company details.

2. Yes. I've heard a lot of positive comments about different CSM classes and trainers. However, I know at least a couple of clearly negative references about a particular trainer class (I wouldn't like to name that trainer here). Therefore, as with most of other classes, I would recommend you gathering references before choosing a trainer.

3. In general yes. In practice though I am visiting Ukraine not very frequently and spend most of my Ukrainian time in Kharkiv. Maybe one day there will be an agile conference in Ukraine to visit during the work time.

1, Really good. Somewhere between 9 and 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. It was presented by Mike Cohn, and he must be best or equal best.

2. It's well worth the time if you can afford the money. For most folk, it would be well worth the money.

3. Kyiv is a bit far for me so No, but good luck...

Are there no good book on this? I'd think that the best teaching of this would be to actually walk through a live experience with somebody; shadow style. Other than that I think each situation is different and the task at hand is very dynamic. I'd be interested in a course myself, for curiosity.
