Ever Bought Something Useless?
In the London Times a few days ago there was a great and funny article on useless inventions (http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/enterprise/article3264420.ece)
Have you ever wasted time, money or emotional energy on something that gave you back very little?

YES! Kitchen appliances, want some? Mixers, choppers, blenders, cutters, hand held mixers for sauces, mini choppers for herbs, whatever they are called, food processors, etc. I believed they would safe me time but in the end was annoyed by all of them and it took the joy out of cooking. I brought them all back to the store and am back at chopping with a knife on a wooden board. And smiling...............!
Cheers, Alice

Million tons !
I've been picking up all kind of curious in garage sales for nearly 30 years, and now that i'll have to move in a couple of weeks I realize what a nightmare it is to have your cupboards, walls and floor crowded with useless stuff...
It is not so much being seduced by latest trendy widget, rather it's a hunter game : being able to detect things that you feel wishable to have that are proposed at a ridiculously low price.
As to useless invention, I'll read the article, but I'm pretty much convinced these have a bright future...

Luckily no.
In Boy Scouts we used to send the unitiated on camporees looking for canned dehydrated water..
I read it myself it was quite amusing.
Its one of those unwanted xmas present moments, when you open it your facial expression is saying 'great, just what ive always wanted!' and your head is saying 'what the hell is this for!!!' or 'what the hell am i going to do with that!!' lol Every year they predict the top most useless or soon to be unused xmas present people will get!! We just keep falling into the xmas trap.

HI Vinod,
A few things have caught me and then after getting them home I wonder what on earth was I thinking. It's value is then determined at the Yard Sale, along with all the other things owned that no one can seem to find a use for. Best part is, someone will buy it!
Eileen
Yep.. idea of starting a "sunshine exchange" where people could hedge their weekends against bad weather.. not exactly something I bought but boy I spent some time daydreaming on this one!
