Best paint sprayer
I'm looking to buy a paint sprayer (electronic, not pneumatic). This is for a heavy latex paint, any brand/model recommendations? Thanks.

Joshua,
First question back to you...will you need the sprayer for one project or are you wanting to have it available for a while? If it's only for one job, rent one from a local outfit, either a chain or independent. Staff there should be able to help you make the right choice. Most will carry Titan or Airlessco. If you want to buy, then he price range will vary from under $100 for a DIY grade product to over $1,500 for a true Pro unit (like the Titan and Airlessco brands).
When buying a sprayer, how much you spend will give you an idea of the quality and longevity of the unit. More money, in this case, buys you a bigger motor and significant higher quality.Wagner does have some mid-level quality units that whould retail in the $250 - $300 range. (Menards, Home Depot, Lowes). In the $500 - $1,000 range, Wagner, Campbell Hausfeld, imports and private label brands are an option. Make sure the retailer backs the warranty, as well or better than the manufacturer if you go with a private label or import. Aove $1,000 Titan and Airlessco share the market.
Whatever your choice, always use a quality paint conditioner to give you the best flow and finish. Choose the right tip orifice for the type of application. And CLEAN THE SPRAYER AFTER EVERY USE! Even if you break for lunch, run the cleaner through, rinse the tip(s) and remove all excess paint. Breaking down the unit and the gun to clean out dried paint is a pain and will cost you way more time than a quick cleaning. Warranties don't cover that kind of "abuse".
Hope that helps.
