Displaced banking professionals looking for consulting work
Are there any recently displaced banking professionals who are looking for consulting work related to commercial REO assets or non-performing loans? Are there displaced banking professionals out there who have in depth knowledge of the structure, regulation of and culture of banking institutions, and might be able to assist clients in placing capital into distressed commercial assets or debt?

Yes. I know some good candidates. Contact me at myaffe27@yahoo.com
John, it is my impression that there is a ton of money out there right now looking for a place to go, and, especially with the sinking value of the dollar, commercial real estate would seem very attractive. I also get the impression that a lot of the people making the decisions as to where this money lands are extremely smart but may not have the experience to enhance the number crunch.
I am still employed (although the duration is somewhat up in the air), but I don’t think you will have much trouble finding displaced bankers looking for work in today’s environment. I would suggest, however, that experience assessing the current and potential future value of the asset may be just as important as in depth banking knowledge.

Yes, I happen to be just one of those banking professionals you are looking for.
